eMail Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to some of the Frequently Asked Question:

Will I get advertising in my eMail account?

Absolutely not. You will never see an ad no matter how you access the service.

Can I use my eMail account on my Smart Phone or Tablet?

Yes, the service can be easily integrated into your email app. It will work equally well on iPhone or Android. Even from your Web Browser.

Can I use my eMail account on my Computer?

Yes, the service can be easily integrated into your email app or via your favorite Web Browser.

Is it hard to setup my new eMail Account?

Absolutely not, it's very easy. When you sign up, we will send you an eMail to your existing email account and also to your new Vanity eMail account clearly explaining how to set it up.

The quickest and easiest way to get up and running really fast is to use the WebMail Application. You can access it by clicking the WebMail image on the navigation bar on the left or WebMail at the Top or Bottom of any page on our website.

The instructions provided are very easy to follow, but if you need further assistance setting up your IMAP/POP3/SMTP eMail, please email us for additional help.

How does the Web Interface work?

Two different WebMail Applications are available. When you sign in via a web browser you can use Horde or RoundCube. We recommend you try both and see which one you prefer and then set that one up as your default.

You can switch back and forth between the two apps right from within them without having to sign out and back in. It is said that Horde is for users who need a full suite of features that includes mobile email access and advanced productivity tools and RoundCube is for users who need a user-friendly web interface with some additional features available.

You can try them both and decide. Horde does provide more functionality such as Calendar, Address Book, Tasks, Notes and Book Marks. Both WebMail Applications contain auto eMail Forwarding and Rules creation.

One great thing about the WebMail Application is that it supports many languages!

How do I switch between the two WebMail Applications?

On the top right, to the right of your eMail address is a pull down arrow, you can switch there by clicking that arrow. From there you can also select other options.

Why do I sometimes see an error message when Logging into WebMail?

You may see a message like "Your session cookie is invalid" or "The security token is missing from your request".

No need to worry and you can just Log In. The main reasons for these messages is if your session times out due to inactivity or you close the WebMail window without Logging Out. In both cases, you don't have a valid cookie and logging in will fix the problem.

But please be assured, that you will always have a secure connection and you can tell by looking for the little lock to the left of our domain name on the top left of your Web Browser.

What happens if I don't renew my account?

About 30 days prior to the end of your term, you will get a reminder that the time for which you paid for is about to expire and that it's time to renew if you want to keep your cool vanity eMail account. If you pay everything continues to work as normal.

If payment is not received, at the end of your term, your account will no longer receive new eMail. For thirty days you can send emails. There is no way to automatically transfer your eMails to another account. During those thirty days, you can transfer any emails you want to keep to another provider. After thirty days, you will no longer be able to send emails.

What happens to my account after the 30 days if I don't re-new my account?

Your account will be deactivated, but not deleted. If another user comes along and wants to use that same name, the account will be deleted and redefined thereby purging all your old mail and the account given to the new user.

If you prefer, at your request, we can immediately delete the account after the end of your term. If the account isn't used by a new user, after about six to twelve months we will delete the account to free up the space taken by your old account.

If you decide you want your old account back and it hasn't already been taken by someone else, or deleted, all your old mail will still be there.

Please eMail us if you have any further questions and we will be happy to answer them and also post the answer here for others to see who may have the same question.
